The top number of votes so far have been for Facebook although both Myspace and Hi5 are tied for a close second. There’s really no telling where this will end since the poll is just a week old.

 

I’m excited and a bit surprised really. I thought that MySpace and Hi5 would be doing better at this point since both of them have more total users vs Facebook. It seems that the recent Facebook hype is not just hype. Your votes are proving that there’s more behind it and users really are prefering the Facebook experience right now.

 

Will this continue? As traffic builds to the polls and people start to let their friends know they should come here and vote for their favorite social network will we see Facebook begin to lose the lead vs MySpace? Or will Hi5 begin to dominate with it’s huge international user base?

I think it’s great that Facebook has clamped down on spam, however I see a bit of hypocrisy going on at the same time.  You see, Facebook has also recently released Facebook Ads and guess what folks…yep there’s spam in them there ads.

Granted Facebook has been manually approving all ads, but that doesn’t stop some black hat SEO folks from slipping things through Facebook’s cracks.  And let’s face it, Facebook won’t be able to keep manually approving ads forever, not if they want it to be profitable, which is pretty much the only reason to run an ad network in the first place.

Have you noticed any spammy ads recently on Facebook?  Or maybe you’re pissed that Facebook is even allowing ads.  Does that mean Facebook is no longer your favorite?

I’m pretty sure the Patriots odds will be getting worse a bit while the Giants are likely to see their odds of winning the Superbowl 2008 to be a bit better after Saturday nights game. Other changes I predict are the Buccaneers and Seahawks odds becoming worse and the Steelers odds becoming better.  Anyway, it’s way too early to tell, but you can make your opinion known.

The Patriots beat the New York Giants 38-35 Saturday night in a thrilling win.  It makes the Patriots the only team to go unbeaten since the 1972 Dolphins.  But as we all know you are only as good as your last game.  The Patriots unbeaten season can all be for nothing if they fail to win throughout the playoffs and win Superbowl XLII on February 3, 2008.

The game was full of other records as well.

In gaining their 19th straight win over two seasons, the Patriots went on top on Brady’s 50th touchdown pass of the year and Moss’ 23rd TD reception. It came with 11:06 remaining.

Brady beat Peyton Manning’s mark of 49 touchdown passes and Moss broke Jerry Rice’s record of 22 TD receptions. And the Patriots finished with an incredible 589 points for the season, another single-season record.

Stil the Patriots will need those three more wins to prove that they are the top football team in the world.  Does the whole world think that the Patriots will be the champions of the football world in Superbowl XLII?  Or is there hope for some other teams like the Steelers, Colts, Cowboys or even the Giants?
